“Art is an expression of color, form, texture and design that creates a personal emotion for myself as well as the viewer.”

My passion for creating began as a young girl growing up in Chicago and continues today. While traveling in the United States and throughout many countries, the opportunity to visit art museums and botanical gardens introduced me to influences of Realism, Impressionism and Modernism in paintings, sculpture, architecture, and stained glass.

Studying the stained-glass process of creating and designing began over 40 years ago in Missouri with advanced training in Illinois while working in a Glass Design Studio and having my own glass business. Oil painting became my passion while earning a bachelor’s degree in art and studying with various artists from Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky, and Georgia…each with their own style of painting to include harmony with nature and the use of vibrant colors.

Since relocating to Missouri, my paintings have been displayed in Springfield at a Senior exhibit at Juanita K. Hammons, ERCPA Gallery, Gailey’s Restaurant, the Greene County Botanical Center, Amore Salon, and the Finley River Fine Artists’ Gallery in Ozark.
